Hello, Having only been honored to meet him once in
Auburn in 1976, at the Banquet he supplied for the Great American Horse Race
Riders, Crew, Vets and Support, i would be almost certain he got a standing
ovation when in his words of welcome he Thanked us for bringing the East to the
West. Others that were there, Hope or Larry, help me out. He got a
big round of applause and some, if not all stood and clapped. He was a
wonderful Man of great vision and humility. tom
