[RC] scary ride - Ridecamp Guest

I know I've herd of riders falling off their horses and the horse taking 
off-never to be found again. Well, it almost happened to me! Riding in the 
state park we  (my horse and I) got caught in the cold rain,she was spooked by 
this and veared off to the side of the trail during a trot. I must have been 
pulling back on the reins because I felt her loose her balance, I fell off and 
in the process let go of the reins. As I hit the ground all I could see were 
feet trotting off down the trail! I stood up and yelled for her to stop. She 
did but only because her front leg was caught in the reins-they had gone over 
her head when I fell.Otherwise, for that slpit second on the ground I felt the 
same way someone would if the locked themselves out of the car with the engine 
running! I don't know how I'd feel if she had run off-or if she would make it 
back to the trail center. It would have been a LONG walk back for me!
