Hi everyone. For anyone who is interested, and this is a good way to get your horse used to big groups of people, horses and trailers, there is a St. Jude ride being held at the Bath Pony Club here in Medina, Ohio on Remsen Rd. close to Medina Line Rd. They are raising money for St. Jude's childrens hospital.
It is sponsored by the Summit County Ohio Horsemen's Council. It is Sept.25th and starts at 10am. It is a 5 mile trail ride (you can ride it however many times you want) and they'll also have games on horseback. This is also a great way to introduce your novice horse to the many horses and things.
There will be a concession stand and you will get a t-shirt if you get sponsors. If you just want to attend, the cost is $35.00 and you will get the t-shirt.
Here's what you can win:
Those raising $175.00 get a cap, sweatshirt, sports bag, t-shirt and patch.
Those raising $125.00 get a sweatshirt, sports bag, t-shirt and patch.
Those raising $75.00 get a sports bag, t-shirt and a patch.
Those raising $35.00 get a t-shirt and patch
You will be helping save the lives of some very sick children.
