I have to agree with Kat on this one.

Have you ever tried to scoop poop on grass?  Ain't easy.  In the shade 
it's not going to dry up as fast either.  It's bigger than dog poop, 
too, even if the odor is less objectionable.  Still gonna draw flies.  
And here's one more park employee with a negative impression of horses.

We go to In 'n' Out hamburgers on some of our river rides, and you can 
bet we stay in the back, without shade, on the tie rails instead of on 
the grass in the shade.  We want to be welcomed back.
