| Re: [RC] Horse Trailer disappointment - Kristi SchaafPaddi -
I'm sorry to hear about your 'lemon' trailer. I have a
big LQ Kiefer (a Windrider, which is a model not built
since 2000 or so, I believe), and it's a solid sturdy
trailer. Sure, we had a few minor issues with ours
when we got it, but nothing that wasn't easily fixed
(it helps that the plant is only a few hours from us).
It sounds like yours was built on a bunch of Fridays
in a row or something! I plan to forward your post to
customer service at the manufacturing plant - I've got
their email address here somewhere. It's a tight
market, so if Kiefer wants to compete with the big
names, they had better make sure trailers like yours
are a very very rare occurance. Oh, I had to smile at
your mention of the running lights (sorry), but my
very orally dexterous horse did pop the cover off one
this weekend at a ride, and he unscrewed the bulb.
Amazingly, when we screwed the bulb back in, it worked
fine.
