Re: [RC] Completion Awards - Kristen A FisherBut by volunteering you helped the ride work, so maybe you should put "Enabler" on the shirt ;-) ----- Original Message ----- From: <cschiro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 14, 2004 4:07 PM Subject: Re: [RC] Completion Awards Gosh, now I feel bad. I volunteered at a ride for the first time to get some more hands-on experience with endurance rides before I actually compete. They gave me a shirt (they gave t-shirts to everyone, including volunteers, so it wasn't a "completion" award) that I wear alot. But I guess people that see me wearing it who didn't go to that particular ride might assume I completed the ride. So maybe next time I wear it I should first take a permanent marker and write on the back of it(I'll have more room that way): "I didn't win this ride, I didn't complete this ride, I didn't even RIDE this ride...I just enjoyed it."
