If I could ever figure out when my mare is going to
jump sideways, then I could be ready for her. But when she drops, jumps
and throws in a spin, I am long gone from the saddle. So I try to read her
the best I can, try to be ready for the 'surprise' spook, and hang on if I
can. I have also discovered that arabs are not the only breed that are
outstanding in the spook area. My hubby's quarter horse was a pro
too. Could it be that those pasture buds arabs taught her? LOL
