Gail Hought made me Beta Biothane reins with a
Velcro attachment in the center. I figured the Velcro would break faster
than a buckle in an emergency. I have been very pleased with them.
The Velcro sticks when I am riding, and the reins can be separated very quickly
when need be by me.
My husband rides in a similar pair with Velcro,
made out of Zilco.
