Re: [RC] forages - Bette LamoreThank you Nicole--- now I have the correct terminology instead of Central CA slang and I do appreciate the lesson :-) AND I still would like an answer to my question as to whether or not I would have to supplement to get the needed calcium for my foals and lactating mares given that they are being fed my particular mix of forage (oat, wheat and beardless barley--- very rich in grain)? Anyone?Where is Susan when I need her??? Bette PS Our forage mix as I've described is currently anywhere from $13 -15/bale (although I got a deal since my neighbor grew it) and alfalfa is $8-9/bale last I checked. And why are we living in CA??? Ridecamp Guest wrote: Please Reply to: Nicole z_arabs@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ==========================================
