Re: [RC] saddle hunt - sigh... - Chris PausElyssa, I had the same problem with a custom made western endurance saddle. I took off the western fenders and put on English leathers with Trail Tech III stirrups. Voila, problem solved! I'm riding with a knee that needs a TKR.. (I'm just putting it off as long as possible) chris --- Elysa Braunstein <elysavmd@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: OK, I give up, my knees may never forgive me if I stay in my current saddle (a Big Horn Endurance #119, fine for my horse and for everything but my poor knees). So - I'm looking for a saddle that is Western Endurance style if possible, and has the stirrups and stirrup leathers hung like an English saddle (directly underneath me, and more free-swinging). I've tried the Wintec Endurance, the stirrup placement is fine but everything else isn't. So - any suggestions on a saddle that might fit my needs?
