[RC] For Marlene - lead ropes in trailer - Kristi SchaafMarlene - I found coil (they're not bungee!) ties at Valley Vet (see link below) that work well. I bought the 7 1/2 footers. I tried the 3 1/2 foot one but it's a little trickier to grab as the horse unloads because it coils really short; the longer one still coils to less than a foot long. I load my guys with them and I don't have to even go in the slant with them now because I can 'send' the horse in and yet still hold the coil tie till he's safely in, because it stretches. I then let go and the coil tie shortens back up (without rebounding hard), so I can leave it on the horse as we travel without worrying about him stepping on it. Or, if he did manage to, the coil would 'give' and not panic him. The hand loop is too small for my liking, but other than that I really like them. I do switch to a regular lead rope as soon as we unload. http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=7ca3ca6f-4d85-4c05-9cdc-6fd14dc879ff Kristi iluvdez at yahoo dot com __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
