Re: [RC] AHAM part two - Maggie MieskeMuch later, I thought about that and was horrified that I hadn't thought of it earlier. Actually, he didn't hurt the truck. I guess he left a little hair on the bumper. He had one long scratch down that hindquarter that barely bled but had deftly removed the hair and a layer of skin. Fortunately, the way he went down, he kind of went under it partway so really didn't run smack dab into it. I wonder if some of the black on him was tire rubber! Poor Barb Kurti later related to Nelson the experience of seeing this horse coming at her, looking into his eyes and his face and then trying to avoid her...my God, I'm glad I didn't see it. FWIW, it was a Ford truck. :) I think. I'll have to ask now. :) I am sure in a day or two this will all hit me and I will have to shut myself in my room and cry for awhile.
