Re: [RC] Training Log - Barbara McCraryWhen I bought my horse two years ago, we had some issues we had to work through. I set up an Excel worksheet to track each ride I did, where we went, what obstacles we encountered, and his behavior that day. It isn't that hard to do, Celeste. If you like, I can send you some information. Since you have Excel, I could send you a blank copy of my worksheet as an attachment to an e-mail. I suppose success with a training log done in Excel depends somewhat on how proficient you are in that program. I'm marginally proficient, not an expert by any means, but Excel has become my workhorse of computer programs. A person can do a lot with it. I make charts of all sorts for our ride that we manage. Also if so what do you keep track of? Would someone be willing to share a logbook they drew up for themselves. I want to keep a training log but have given up trying with MS word and Excel! I just don't know where to start. Celeste =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
