[RC] man vs. horse - Ed Kilpatrickthis year's boston marathon was held on april 19th, in record setting heat for the area, 85 degrees. in spite of that, the winning times for the 26.2 mile course were 2:10:57 for the men's division and 2:24:37 for the women's division. a very large number of competitors did not finish due to the heat.
now, go back and look at those times again. thats movin on! and yes, i am sure the times would be slower if a 160 lb. man was carrying a 40 lb. pack :-)
