To add traction and wear resistant they are
useful but not as effective as drive in or screw in studs. For each of the
driving pair, we will use Duratracs in the front two corners and drive in studs
at the heels on all four shoes. I like the way they cause the shoe to last
an extra reset. They have the advantage of being of negligible
significance when they aren't needed, but help hold the road when they
are. I think they cost me $.25 ea. (I have not used borium
myself.)

their development.

Has anyone heard of these? I was told by my
shoer that they are the way to go instead of borium as far as wear of the
shoe. He said that They would be the way to go for Tevis. Beccy in Ut.
