For a lot of people finishing an LD can be hard
work, especially on their first novice rides. But once those people finish a 50,
they know they have done an endurance ride. There is a distinct
difference between riding a 25 and a 50. You have to ride your horse smarter.
Most anyone can get a horse thru a 25 but not all can get their horse
successfully thru a 50 without smart management of their horse and their own
body.
