ENDURANCE CLINIC Saturday, April 24th Circle 9 Ranch ~ Jerseydale MEET AT 9:00 AM ~RIDE OUT AT 10:00 Want to learn and practice the ins and outs of an endurance ride? Bring your horse and be ready to ride through the Sierra National Forest and trails of the "Run for the Gold" Endurance Ride. Get some "hooves-on" experience with this exciting sport and learn in a relaxed atmosphere. There will be technical advice as well as veterinary advice available as we take you through a pre-marked 10-12 mile course. Bring a sack lunch to enjoy at trail's end and be prepared to ask questions and learn how to take your horse's pulse and respiration. The clinic will also cover map reading, in hand veterinary inspections, on trail, check point protocol, and outfitting for you and your horse. This clinic is for every rider not just for the endurance rider. DIRECTIONS: From Mariposa take Hwy 49 to Darrah Road. Turn left on Darrah and proceed approximately 5 miles to a stop sign at Triangle Road. Continue across Triangle and Darrah becomes Jerseydale Road. Go approximately 3 miles to the Circle 9 Ranch. . From Oakhurst take highway 49 toward Mariposa. Turn Right at Triangle Road. Go approximately 5 miles to the Darrah/Jerseydale intersection. Turn Right on Jerseydale Road and continue for approximately 3 miles to the Circle 9 Ranch.
