Re: [RC] [RC] re: [RC] Setting Fire to Tents in FLA ... Howard! You STOP THAT!!! - Howard BramhallActually, I really did do this at my first ride, years ago. Didn't even own a tent back then. I was sleeping in my horse trailer, it got incredibly cold, I was not prepared (geez, what a surprise), and had moved my Coleman lamp close to me for warmth. It was one of those older model Colemans, the kind where you had to pour in some type of camping oil, pump it up, and light the candle. During the night the antique Coleman wandered over to a bale of hay, and lit that sucker up. I was no longer cold.I do believe it took me over three beers to put out that fire. Lesson learned? Sleep with some water filled containers so you don't waste good beer putting out a bad fire. cya, Howard (and, that was just the beginning of an adventure that never seems to end, when it comes to endurance and me) From: "Kristen A Fisher" <kskf@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> _________________________________________________________________ All the action.
