Re: [RC] Audio of Convention Seminars - AprilWell, there hasn't been an overwhelming reponse to the suggestion of audio/video taping, so I guess I'll just keep my learning internet based. No point in putting myself out for a lot of grief and suggesting even more work for overworked AERC staff if nobody is interested. Considering the prior threads on education, I would have thought this would have been an easy and relatively inexpensive way to get valuable information into the hands of those that want it. Not to take away from the experience of "being there," but I find more value in materials I can go over and over than in attending a seminar once. For what it's worth, I agree that the speakers should be involved regarding permission to tape (video or audio). April Nashville, TN ----- Original Message ----- From: <suendavid@xxxxxxx> Please also put permission from the speakers at the top of the list. I don't mind being taped for personal use, but it is a courtesy and copyright issue if the tapes are to be reproduced and sold, even if only at cost.
