[RC] what to plant in pasture? - Nina Vasiliev


Hello,

We're trying to buy some horse property in the Sacramento Valley in N. California. Any suggestions on what to plant in the pasture? I expect that we may not have enough water to keep the pasture irrigated and so things dry up here late spring till November.

I plan on buying hay also, but am very interested in having nice grazing for my two horses.

Any thoughts?
