[RC] 80's 400 mile race - MerrybenA few weeks ago someone asked about this race. Here is the information I found out. mb The ride had an organiser that had no experience with endurance rides. he planned it through the Southwest, and it was to have five hundred riders. It was pointed out that the water requirement was beyond his planning let alone other considerations, the ride was abanded.
