Re: [RC] Deaths - the list - Susan GarlinghouseI have mortality insurance on my horses and an autopsy is required. Do you think this type of field autopsy would be accepted? I I've only dealt with insurance and mortality as the horse owner, but they were fine with my regular vet being the one doing the necropsy. I think it just takes a prior phone call to let them know what's going on. If the horse were insured for mega-bucks, and the death were totally out of the blue, that might change things, but I don't know.
