also, there are a lot of forums in various sites that you can go in and read what people who haul large trailers and RV's have had to say about the various brands of trucks. I can maybe find some of those sites and send them to you later. We've been researching trucks too (new Ford review here: http://www.mrtruck.net/powerstroke.htm ) I have a one ton Chevy diesel now, 95, and have driven it for 106,000 miles without a single problem, most of those miles have been hauling a horse trailer.
