[RC] AERC Insurance questions - Jonni JewellCan someone explain to me a little more about the AERC insurance situation? Though I am not a ride manager, I do help out with a couple rides, and know the very basics about insurance, second insured for land use etc. etc. I know that many rides have had their own companies they have worked with for years. Will they no longer be able to use them if this thing passes? I also have entertained some thoughts of trying to get some distance carriage driving events held in conjunction with endurance rides in our area (I know some rides in the NE are also drives) would AERC be able to get insurance for non-AERC sanctioned events too? And last, would the ride manager be able to contact the insurance company direct for last min. changes, or have to go through the AERC office? (I think the rides I have helped with, have cell phone numbers etc. to contact their agents if a problem arises) Just trying to understand this a little more, as I am not really clear on all the details.
