All I can say, John, is I got those numbers (11 total, 8
metabolic) from a fellow board member. In confidence, of course,
since we still seem to be keeping all of this quiet, but, they are from a
credible source. As far as what the real numbers are, those numbers that
include deaths after the ride, at home, endurance related, like the two we found
out about from Tevis (and, yes those two are part of the 11), nobody
knows.

it's the first time I've seen an 8 involved in the discussion. is there a
list available which covers the last two years? It would be nice to clear
up the speculation....
