I am positive about that. Unless something like a bear
came along and decided to eat them making them panic they would stand tied and
probably dehydrate and starve.
Horses endure many things. They do not stand and say
"my gosh it has been 4 days I should fight and get free. They forgot about
me."
Talk to your SPCA officer. They will tell you some
horrid stories.
Like why would a stallion stand for days in a trailer
not much bigger then him and not fight to get out. He could have easily
kicked the door out. He was thin and dehydrated. It was minus
30C
Or why would 3 horses stand tied for days in a
yard with out food and little water. (they were rescued thin and dehydrated
but all lived)
Some horses may fight to get free but mine are trained
to tie. They do not pull or fight. I can high line them, tie them to a trailer ,
hobble them. They are taught to tie so I do not believe they would fight to get
free unless they felt threatened, very threatened.
If they were to get loose and they
were caught by a tree they would not fight and break the reins , halter or
lead they would stand tied waiting for someone to undo
them.
Are you positive about that? How can you be? would they wait days &
days for help?
