[RC] Lost horses - William RiceJust musing here, but what about a radio or remote controlled bell or other device you could put in the horse's saddle pack. Then when lost you could use the operating device to sound the horn or whatever, may scare the hell out of the horse but would let you know in general where the horse was. Of course the GPS solution is probably the wave of the future but more expensive as of now.
