They do have some rules I think are funny - one about not wearing dangly
earrings so that they won't get caught on the horse or the "shrubbery",

and

the bit about looking proper when going to get awards.


Having watched a classmate in veterinary school get her earlobe ripped when
she bent over a nice big friendly dog to check his HR and got a nice
friendly swipe of a paw with a subsequent catching of a dewclaw in her
dangly earring, I got a real charge out of that one...  :-)
