[RC] AAA one more time....sigh - Jonni JewellDarkHorseGoddess posted: That is the same thing AAA WI/MN told me ...no horse trailers (empty or loaded), and yes,I even paid the extra money for RV coverage.<<< OK, let me try this again...I will type slower..... AAA memberships are not, I repeat NOT the same from state to state! And Bonnie, it is too bad you did not have the AAA of So. Calif Brochure on RV service with you, where the words HORSE TRAILER are spelled out. Again, from the AAA web site: **It entitles you to up to four RV or motorcycle towing and RV tire change service calls a year for your RV, motor home or motorcycle. It also covers your *HORSE*- or boat- trailer, 5th wheel trailer, or tent camper - whether you own, borrow, or rent it.** (my caps and highlight of the word horse) http://www.aaa-calif.com/members/summary.asp#rvtow When we moved to Texas from So. Calif. is when I found out that each office sets the types of services they offer. Shoot, So. Calif. AAA is even different that AAA of No. Calif.!!! Texas does not have RV membership. They just have two. Regular, and Plus. The RV coverage is under the "PLUS", where other states, you have Plus, and RV available. All areas are different!!!!!!! The point is, KNOW your AAA membership if you use them, and what they will and won't say they will do in their brochures and membership papers. What I will miss from my AAA since changing to USRider, are the maps...I LOVE all those free maps!!!
