Re: [RC] [Guest] Wintec Isabelle Dressage Saddles for Trail Riding - Ridecamp ModeratorChristina Schiro CSchiro@xxxxxxxxxxxxxI ride in a Wintec Isabelle Dressage saddle with the CAIR system (and use a supercor pad) becuase I wanted to do both Dressage and CTR and LD Riding. Several other CTR and LD riders in my area have used their Isabelle on their arabs for a couple of years, and recommended it to me. I do not know how the synthetic material holds up, I have only had mine since June. But you can ride in the rain in them, and are easy to clean. The Wintect saddles (especially with the CAIR) are supposed to be great for horses bacs because of the special air bladder system that molds to the horses back and because the saddle panels covers a bigger area of the horses back. Also, the gullet can be changed out, so you can use as your horse's back changes. Since I have had my new horse since June, I have had to change the gullet out two times as he got more and more conditioned and muscled up. However, if I was to do a 50 or 100, I would get a "True" endurance saddle because they are specially designed for the demands of this specific sport. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
