Re: [RC] Equimax -- Anyone Else Having a Negative Reaction? - Bette LamoreI've wormed my 24 horses last month with no adverse reactions, ranging in age from under a year to 22. Didn't notice any change at all e.g. weight gain in my-fat-hay-belly-but-a-little-ribby-on-top guy (guess it's the treadmill for him) or my growthy weanling--- guess none had tapes so I am going back to my one-third the price Ivermec (for cattle). Have no idea how common tapes are in Paso but it looks like mine didn't have them (but at least I feel like a good mamma now). I guess it was cheaper to do it once/year than to pay for 24 fecal exams--- or are tapes obvious enough you don't need testing? Susan? Charlotte?Bette, who has never seen any worms in horse poop--- only out cats butt--- ugh!!! When I brought them in for breakfast this morning, the 19 yo wouldn't finish his grain, had runny manure, and just wanted to lay around in his stall. He was not pawing, staring at his sides, or rolling..... 5yo was looking perfectly normal. -- Bette Lamore Whispering Oaks Arabians Home of 16.2h TLA Halynov who lives on through his legacy Hal's Riverdance! http://www.arabiansporthorse.com Always remember: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
