[RC] pr recovery proposal - rides2farThis IS a November ride, so heat is not an issue. EVERY HORSE EXCEPT 1 met criteria in 5 minutes or less. This is what I suspected from my managing experience. It's not that the 15 min. is such a bad thing, I just don't expect it to help anything. Don't forget that on the HW that took 18 min. he may not have hurried over. Now that my daughter & I are just taking it easy I've made it a point at most rides (it was too cold at the last) to get all the mud sponged off my horse before heading to the P&R area because it tends to turn to concrete before we get back and I don't like to keep sponging them after they've cooled off. We've been presenting at 52 and 48 and our P&R time is well after they recovered sometimes. Of course I won't be able to do the clean up job as thoroughly if it becomes a stigma. :-P Angie ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
