RE: [RC] pads for Reactor Panel saddle? - David LeBlancI'm interested in that one, too. I've been using a Supracor under my Reactor Panel (the big one with no cover), but the pad scrubs his withers. I know that Steph also uses a Supracor, but modified it. I have tried a Skito under it, but it squirted out from under the saddle 3 TIMES in the first loop, and yes, I did have the billet straps through the loops in the pad. It really stinks to try and put your saddle back together while everyone you just passed trots by... So I'm trying to figure something out - maybe a Skito with thinner padding? Try modifying my really expensive Supracor? Modify it and cover it? I really like the Supracor padding, hate the way it fits the horse, and the covered "endurance" style Supracor isn't big enough. BTW, I have just put a fleece pad underneath the RP and had good results for a 50 - and I'm a heavyweight. If you're lighter than I am, that may work for you. For me, I think there needs to be something, even if it is thin. Ideas from other RP owners? ________________________________ From: ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Randi Lavikoff Sent: Monday, November 10, 2003 3:15 AM To: ridecamp ridecamp Subject: [RC] pads for Reactor Panel saddle? Can anyone share what pad(s) worked well for them with their Reactor Panel system. Love the saddle, hate the pads, cause they're soaked after riding, and I can't wrestle to take them off after every ride. Yesterday I used my Dixie Midnight pad under the fleece RP pad to avoid it getting wet, but I wonder if that interferes with the saddle panel effectiveness?
