It's the same here in
Maryland. One of my friends in a local trail group says she sees the
bikers out doing work on trails, but she can never get horse people to come out
and do anything.
I have said for years that the
horse people are basically apathetic and arrogant about trail use. If we
joined with the hikers and bikers, we would be unbeatable. The mountain
bikers here are numerous and organized.................mb
