Re: [RC] [Guest] Lost horse? - rides2farYes, this is true. I was one of the folks out looking for him... We were also on foot, in vehicles, etc. No definate sign. There are a LOT of places Zoom Zoom can hide out there!!! They might want to talk to those hunting him about what they should do if they find him. We had a saddled horse lost the week before our ride once (he'd been marking trails). He was lost for several days and on the day of the ride a crew person found him. He was standing next to a fence, as close as he could get to a herd of cows for company. They ponied him out the window of their truck at a fast trot back to the vet check. Problem was, the horse was really dehydrated and stressed and he started trying to tie up from that. If he's found they need to carefully re-hydrate and treat him like a really stressed horse just to be safe.
