I am happy to write a letter of protest, but I would like to read the facts for myself, particularly the one directly above, which definitely needs to be protested before it becomes accepted as common knowledge in federal agencies. I found this website: http://www.ca.blm.gov/arcata/headwaters.html which has links to a ton of documents on the project, and frankly I don't know enough about the process to know which are which. I don't think it's very useful to write and say "I read on Ridecamp that you're blocking horse access." It's much better to quote their documents back to them. Can someone knowledgeable on this subject point me to exactly which doc(s) I need to read, particularly the one that says horses are too "damaging to the environment" to be allowed on these trails." ??
