You can point to many rides in the US won in 9 hours (Ft. Howes in 2002) and even sub 8 hours (Carolina in '94). Liberty Run is normally run around 10 hours - sometimes sub. They've been running them fast in Texas for years.We've been running fast 100's throughout the AERC for years. The FEI has not made our 100's any faster. Use the FEI as a whipping boy if you want but the facts sure don't bear out that view.
