Re: [RC] [RC] Ruffled Feathers---Good Responses - Kari HanesJon, Becke is right, the vets here in Michigan have been great! I'm a newbie, this past summer was the first full season I've been able to ride. The horse I'm riding is a family favorite and I received quite a lot of static about not letting anything happen to her. So I was nervous to even attempt this sport at an LD distance let alone a 50. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE, I asked a question or advice was more than eager to help me out. It didn't matter who it was. The vets at each of the rides we went to gave my horse a complete exam (before, during and after) and answered all of my questions and concerns with sincere and honest answers. I have never ridden in another region so I can't comment on those, but have been welcomed in Michigan and never felt I was lesser of a rider doing an LD vs. 50's. Thank you to all of you for your encouragement!
