Please come to a few more MI rides. I know that at the Little Manistee, The Tin Cup Springs, The Wolverine, The AHAM and The Hopkins Creek all horses (LD & 50's) stand for a BC at the end and are given a full vet check at the end. The vets frequently wander around after the ride to look at the horses to make sure they are all eating, peeing and pooping. At some of these rides we only award a BC placing. However, in order for the riders to get credit with UMECRA and AERC. We send in the results from the pulse down. A little more complicated but our emphasis is on the condition of the horse, not the speed.
