[RC] Rain Rot Again--Help Please - Val NicosonThe last time this subject was discussed I recall a couple good suggestions...can anyone help me to quickly determine what those were? One was washing a horse with xxx both in the Spring and again in the Fall...stating this helped with their horses. I thought someone else had mentioned some kind of supplement would help. Any ideas what this might have been? Am going to get the vet out to do a blood panel to see what my mare may be lacking as well. Any particular blood studies I should let the vet know to be watchful for? Trying to blanket her is kinda hard to do...she is on pasture 24/7, 6-horse herd. Additionally, she is at my friend's place and we both work. So it would be difficult to blanket her and get it off early the next day if there is no rain. Any quick help would be greatly appreciated! We had a nice steady rain the other day, yesterday was very warm. Groomed her yesterday and didn't notice it and tonight while grooming it was certainly noticed. She has a decent winter coat on already and would really hate to shave off quite a bit of what she already has. Thanks much, Val + Sania __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
