This may not be the answer you want but I found the easiest thing to 
do was to teach my horse to pee outside of the trailer. I caught him 
a few times in the paddock peeing and rewarded him with carrots and 
repeatedly said, "good pee", "good pee", so he learned a verbal cue. 
Now he never pees in the trailer and pees frequently on the trails 
thinking he might get a carrot. When he first learned he was rewarded 
every pee. Now he only gets a carrot maybe every other pee.
