What about the stallion, LS Zane Grey+//?

He started in 1993, but I can't tell if he's done any
rides this year as he doesn't show up, so he might
have *just* missed the criteria and only have 9 years?

Zane has 5020 miles, 35 BCs, 77 top ten finishes (of
which, 67 were top 5, and 20 were wins). He finished
2nd at Tevis in '97, won Swanton 100 in '99, did all
five days of New Mexico Renegade I 55 in 2001, and did
24 days of XP2001. He has had 7 pulls in 91 rides (5
lames, 2 ROs). According to the AERC record, he did
no LD. I believe he wears shoes ;-)

Eric Thompson rode him for 1085 miles, while Kathy
Majors Thompson rode 3935.

To me, what's interesting, is that he didn't just do
lots of miles over many years, he did lots of *racing*
miles, which are much harder to keep a horse sound.

His anglo arab stallion son, CA Zanes Bobby is now
starting his endurance career and has 410 LD miles.
