Probably none, but people like to whine. I remember the first ride I went to where the respiration criteria was 40. Becky and I looked at each other and said "that's crazy, it is impossible, we will never finish" but of course we did. When I started riding endurance back in the dark ages of 1974, the pulse/respiration criteria was normally 72/72, you had an hour at the lunch stop to get the horse down and we were always in a panic that our horse would not make it, but of course, they always did.....even the non arabs.............mb =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
