Do not
let Steph kid you! Those are not ROCKS they are geologic artifacts! We protect
them so that riders can experience what is unique to that
region.

Steph's Ride
Thanks Katey - you're right - it is not easy to back off... I think
that is why there seem to be more problems at the big rides. There's
a lot of pressure on the riders to do well (the year(s) of preparation, the
expense, the team, the sponsors, the crews you dragged along, folks watching
at the ride - and back home...etc). It's a different
game.

Rocks? You want rocks? hey - come over and ride the

Steph,
You have proven that there can be a balance between
riding competitive and doing all you can to not risk your horse.
It can't be easy to back off when you have invested so much in one ride,
however, your horse is healthy and sound because of the way you rode
him.
You should not be disappointed in the least in your ride.
You are a fine ambassador for our sport. We are so fortunate to have
so many great endurance examples to follow right here in Idaho. YOU
ROCK!!!
