[RC] Permission from private land owners - Linda B. Merims

I should clarify that I was responding to
the original question about getting permission
to cross private land *for training rides*;
just you and your horse out for a neighborhood
spin.
If you are running an actual event, the
rules are entirely different. I would
never hold an event over private land
without written permission. Even if
one were willing to dispense with
considerations of honorable behavior,
it would entirely invalidate any insurance
coverage.
