[RC] Riding Cavalry - Deanna GermanHave endurance rides in 25, 50 and 100 miles -- but the horse and rider are a team. No pit crews. That's what I said, NO pit crews. Bonnie, impose a "time window" with a scoring system based on condition of the horse rather than making it a race and you have a sport called "competitive trail riding". One of the challenges of CTR is the rider having to do everything -- it's exhausting! You did cause some neurons to connect for me, however... I would love to see FEI and international competitions conducted purely as cavalry events. How fast would that get rid of the "jockeys"? >g< Deanna =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
