[RC] diane in florida, no winter coat, blanketting horses - Ed Kilpatrickdiane, do you live way down in south florida? miami? ft. lauderdale? we are in northwest florida, about 50 miles west of tallahasse. we have real winter weather here. and our horses have winter coats. is your horse a stallion? i have noticed that my stallions have less winter coat than any of the other horses. we dont blanket unless it gets into single digit temperatures, then only the two or three that have short coats. ed kilpatrick
