Re: [RC] [RC] Adios Research - Laurie DurginMinor point.But it's documented too that horses won't drink as much COLD water as they will warm (when the weather turns cold).We have a 'deicer ' in our trough as we had 2 older horses and heard many older horses don't drink enough water when it is cold leading to more colics ect. When I 'forget" to turn the deicer off or for some reason didn't have it in, the water consumption I noticed in my small herd ,drops by about a 1/3.
