Re: [RC] [RC] [RC] Rider Option - Nancy MittsSorry Maggie,If the injury is such that it causes lameness, it's a still an "L". By injury I meant things like a cut requiring stitches or medication, or something that the horse should not go down the trail with, but does not cause lameness. A lame horse is a lame horse. I had one at the last ride. Have no idea why. Could be because she stood on a slope in the rain all day on Friday, pulling a shoe on her pen. Could be the slick mud & rocks on trail, even though we walked half the loop. (She never even broke a sweat--this was a babysitting a new horse ride.) I never even asked whether it would be L or ROL, it is what it is. I can't control what other people think of it and I don't care. She was fine the next morning. Nancy Mitts From: "Maggie Mieske" <mmieske@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> I didn't realize surface factors could mean injuries!! Isn't it L-SF? Or just SF? I don't know if I've ever seen it used yet. Hmmmmm....but there is a stigma, isn't there? Even when we don't care what our pull rate might be, we don't want people to think the worst! :) Miles of smiles, Maggie _________________________________________________________________ Add MSN 8 Internet Software to your existing Internet access and enjoy patented spam protection and more.
