Re: [RC] helmet question - hrsldyloryI'd like to know the answer on that one also. I tried to research the ASTM standards but hit a few dead ends and got discouraged. My friends and I ride in bike helmets and I find the fit more secure (completely adjustable) and more comfortable. I haven't been DQ'd from a ride because of it (yet) but carry an "real" helmet just in case. My boyfriend rides mountain bikes and used to compete so I've seen some pretty rough spills. The helmets seem to hold up very well and give good coverage. The biggest plus is that it's much easier to color co-ordinate your outfits. <wink> Lory & Boogie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
